Step 1: Understand the Role of a Security Guard
Security guards are more than just uniformed figures, they’re trained professionals protecting people, property, and peace. Expect duties like:

Step 2: Complete the Ontario Basic Security Guard Training
At 247 Secure Solutions, we offer a 40-hour Ministry-compliant course that blends online and in-person options. Our training includes:
- The Private Security and Investigative Services Act, 2005
- Report writing & legal boundaries
- Emergency response, fire safety, and evacuation protocols

Step 3: Pass the Ministry Licensing Exam
Once you finish the training, you’ll receive a Training Completion Number (TCN). You’ll need this to book the licensing exam via Serco.

Head over to Service Ontario with:
- Valid TCN

- Recent passport photo
